In October 2020 Christies in London held the auction Thinking Italian Art and Design Evening Sale, which included the work Struttura ortogonale assoggettata ai quattro vertici a tensione (Orthogonal structure subjected to tension at the four vertices) by Luciano Fabro. The result of GBP 300,000.00 (€ 333,124.41) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luciano Fabro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italia dell’emigrante (Italy of the Emigrant) in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 2,714,500.00 (€ 3,796,907.49).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Thinking Italian Art and Design Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Struttura ortogonale assoggettata ai quattro vertici a tensione (Orthogonal structure subjected to tension at the four vertices) von Luciano Fabro zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 300.000,00 (€ 333.124,41) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300.000,00 – 500.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luciano Fabro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italia dell’emigrante (Italy of the Emigrant) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.714.500,00 (€ 3.796.907,49).
