Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Edera (Ivy) by Luciano Fabro was sold in the Contemporary Art Evening Auction auction at Sothebys in London in March 2018. The price achieved of GBP 609,000.00 (€ 693,380.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Admittedly, works by Luciano Fabro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Italia dell’emigrante (Italy of the Emigrant) in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 2,714,500.00 (€ 3,796,907.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Edera (Ivy) von Luciano Fabro wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Evening Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 609.000,00 (€ 693.380,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luciano Fabro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Italia dell’emigrante (Italy of the Emigrant) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.714.500,00 (€ 3.796.907,49).
