Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Evening Auction, which included the work Alluminio E Seta Naturale (Piede) by Luciano Fabro. The price achieved of GBP 754,000.00 (€ 850,279.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 650,000.00 – 850,000.00. Admittedly, works by Luciano Fabro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Italia dell’emigrante (Italy of the Emigrant) in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 2,714,500.00 (€ 3,796,907.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Evening Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Alluminio E Seta Naturale (Piede) von Luciano Fabro zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 754.000,00 (€ 850.279,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 650.000,00 – 850.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luciano Fabro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Italia dell’emigrante (Italy of the Emigrant) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.714.500,00 (€ 3.796.907,49).
