Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sem titulo by Lucas Arruda was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 189,000.00 (€ 163,254.73). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucas Arruda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled from the series Deserto-Modelo, which sold at auction in November 2021 for HKD 3,780,000.00 (€ 420,297.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sem titulo von Lucas Arruda wurde im September 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 189.000,00 (€ 163.254,73) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Lucas Arruda mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled from the series Deserto-Modelo beobachtet, die im November 2021 für HKD 3.780.000,00 (€ 420.297,69) versteigert wurde.
