In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale in Association with Poly Auction auction, the work Untitled from the series Deserto-Modelo sold for HKD 3,780,000.00 (€ 420,297.69) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 1,500,000.00. This high result makes Untitled from the series Deserto-Modelo the most expensive artwork by Lucas Arruda that we have observed at auctions so far.
