Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 21st Century Art Day Sale, which included this untitled work by Lucas Arruda. It changed hands for a price of HKD 882,000.00 (€ 105,717.48) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 600,000.00 – 900,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucas Arruda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled from the series Deserto-Modelo, which sold at auction in November 2021 for HKD 3,780,000.00 (€ 420,297.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lucas Arruda zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 882.000,00 (€ 105.717,48) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 600.000,00 – 900.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lucas Arruda mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled from the series Deserto-Modelo beobachtet, die im November 2021 für HKD 3.780.000,00 (€ 420.297,69) versteigert wurde.
