Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Lorser Feitelson was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2019. It changed hands for a price of USD 32,500.00 (€ 29,494.51) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lorser Feitelson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in December 2019 for USD 93,750.00 (€ 83,504.05).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lorser Feitelson kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 29.494,51) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lorser Feitelson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Dezember 2019 für USD 93.750,00 (€ 83.504,05) versteigert wurde.
