This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Leonardo Drew; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Number 23 sold at auction in March 2020 with the realized price of USD 105,000.00 (€ 95,203.55).
