Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Leonardo Drew was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2021. It changed hands for a price of USD 56,700.00 (€ 46,498.28) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leonardo Drew - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Number 23, which sold at auction in March 2020 for USD 105,000.00 (€ 95,203.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Leonardo Drew kam im Mai 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 56.700,00 (€ 46.498,28) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Leonardo Drew mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Number 23 beobachtet, die im März 2020 für USD 105.000,00 (€ 95.203,55) versteigert wurde.
