Auction result well in line with expectations
The work June by Leonard Campbell Taylor was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2014. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,077.63) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Leonard Campbell Taylor have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sisters in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 27,485.00 (€ 39,537.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit June von Leonard Campbell Taylor kam im März 2014 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.077,63) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonard Campbell Taylor auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sisters im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.485,00 (€ 39.537,02).
