Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The White Room by Leonard Campbell Taylor was sold in the Victorian, British and Impressionist Art auction at Christies in London in June 2013. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,188.46) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leonard Campbell Taylor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sisters in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 27,485.00 (€ 39,537.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The White Room von Leonard Campbell Taylor wurde im Juni 2013 in der Auktion Victorian, British and Impressionist Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.188,46) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leonard Campbell Taylor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sisters im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.485,00 (€ 39.537,02).
