The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,994.08), 67% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Leonard Campbell Taylor have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sisters in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 27,485.00 (€ 39,537.02).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.994,08) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonard Campbell Taylor auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sisters im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.485,00 (€ 39.537,02).
