A top price for Leonard Campbell Taylor - as previously expected
The work Sisters by Leonard Campbell Taylor was sold in the Victorian Pictures auction at Christies in London in November 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 27,485.00 (€ 39,537.02) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sisters is the most expensive artwork by Leonard Campbell Taylor that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Sisters von Leonard Campbell Taylor wurde im November 2004 in der Auktion Victorian Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 27.485,00 (€ 39.537,02) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
