Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Park In The Morning Mist (Hyde Park) by Léon de Smet. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 65,000.00 (€ 89,625.35). Admittedly, works by Léon de Smet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roze Harmonie in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 485,000.00 (€ 668,742.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Park In The Morning Mist (Hyde Park) von Léon de Smet zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 65.000,00 (€ 89.625,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Léon de Smet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Roze Harmonie im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 485.000,00 (€ 668.742,97).
