A top price for Léon de Smet - as previously expected
In February 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Roze Harmonie by Léon de Smet. It changed hands for a price of GBP 485,000.00 (€ 668,742.97) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Roze Harmonie is the most expensive artwork by Léon de Smet that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Februar 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Roze Harmonie von Léon de Smet zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 485.000,00 (€ 668.742,97) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300.000,00 – 500.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Roze Harmonie das teuerste Kunstwerk von Léon de Smet, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
