Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fleurs by Léon de Smet was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2017. It changed hands for a price of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 38,086.79) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Léon de Smet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roze Harmonie in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 485,000.00 (€ 668,742.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fleurs von Léon de Smet kam im März 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 38.086,79) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Léon de Smet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roze Harmonie im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 485.000,00 (€ 668.742,97).
