Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March this year Christies in New York held the auction South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online, which included this untitled work by Laxman Shrestha. Here, the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 27,720.00 (€ 25,496.69). Other works by Laxman Shrestha have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 36,000.00 (€ 29,656.48) in March 2006 for the work without title.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Laxman Shrestha zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 27.720,00 (€ 25.496,69) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Laxman Shrestha haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.000,00 (€ 29.656,48) im März 2006 für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet.
