This artwork by Laxman Shrestha achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2006. In the Indian & Southeast Asian Art auction, the work without title sold for USD 36,000.00 (€ 29,656.48) - well above the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00. This high result makes the work without title the most expensive artwork by Laxman Shrestha that we have observed at auctions so far.
