Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Abstract) by Laxman Shrestha was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in February 2007. The price achieved of USD 24,000.00 (€ 18,140.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Laxman Shrestha have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2006 the work without title was auctioned for USD 36,000.00 (€ 29,656.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Abstract) von Laxman Shrestha kam im Februar 2007 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 24.000,00 (€ 18.140,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Laxman Shrestha konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2006 die Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 36.000,00 (€ 29.656,48) versteigert.
