In November last year Christies in New York held the auction Visionary: The Paul G. Allen Collection Part II, which included the work From Berg Lake, Morning by Lawren Stewart Harris. The »bidding war« ended at USD 882,000.00 (€ 854,402.79), 47% above the upper estimate. With this result, From Berg Lake, Morning is even the most expensive work of art by Lawren Stewart Harris that we have observed at auctions so far.
