Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sketch - Above Aurora, Ont. by Lawren Stewart Harris was auctioned at Sothebys in Toronto in November 2012. The price achieved of CAD 71,500.00 (€ 55,336.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lawren Stewart Harris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountain Sketch LXIII in November last year with an auction result of USD 882,000.00 (€ 854,402.79).

Die Arbeit Sketch - Above Aurora, Ont. von Lawren Stewart Harris kam im November 2012 bei Sothebys in Toronto zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CAD 71.500,00 (€ 55.336,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CAD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden.
