This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Laurence Jenkell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bonbon Aluminum Polimiroir in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 325,000.00 (€ 294,945.09).

Die Arbeit Bonbon Bronze Blanc von Laurence Jenkell war einem Käufer im März 2016 GBP 37.500,00 (€ 47.347,45) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Laurence Jenkell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bonbon Aluminum Polimiroir im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 325.000,00 (€ 294.945,09).
