Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Dark Horse) by Kim Dingle was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2007. The price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,472.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kim Dingle have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 35,250.00 (€ 41,691.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Dark Horse) von Kim Dingle kam im September 2007 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 7.472,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kim Dingle auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.250,00 (€ 41.691,31).
