Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Red Car by Kim Dingle was auctioned at Christies in New York in June 2008. It changed hands for a price of USD 4,750.00 (€ 3,016.26) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kim Dingle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 35,250.00 (€ 41,691.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Red Car von Kim Dingle kam im Juni 2008 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 3.016,26) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kim Dingle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.250,00 (€ 41.691,31).
