Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2007 Phillips in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Part II, which included the work Gauze Buildings, Wine to Black by Kate Shepherd. Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 20,400.00 (€ 15,163.90). Other works by Kate Shepherd have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 27,500.00 (€ 21,390.79) in September 2012 for the work Light Blue And Espresso, Chalkboard And Map, Dropped Ceiling.

Im Mai 2007 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gauze Buildings, Wine to Black von Kate Shepherd zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 20.400,00 (€ 15.163,90) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Kate Shepherd haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 21.390,79) im September 2012 für die Arbeit Light Blue And Espresso, Chalkboard And Map, Dropped Ceiling beobachtet.
