Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Kazimir Malevich achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in December 2007. In the Impressionist and Modern Art auction, the work Suprematist Cross sold for EUR 36,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kazimir Malevich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Suprematist Composition in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 85,812,500.00 (€ 73,532,562.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kazimir Malevich erzielte im Dezember 2007 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Suprematist Cross für EUR 36.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kazimir Malevich erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Suprematist Composition im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 85.812.500,00 (€ 73.532.562,13).
