All signed with initials, dated and numbered 30/40 in pencil (there were also 6 artist's proofs), published by the Lower East Side Print Shop, New York (with their blindstamp), all unframed.

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Testimony Suite by Kara Walker was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April this year. The price achieved of USD 10,160.00 (€ 9,202.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kara Walker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Negress Notes in May last year with an auction result of USD 529,200.00 (€ 493,150.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Testimony Suite von Kara Walker kam im April diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.160,00 (€ 9.202,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kara Walker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Negress Notes im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 529.200,00 (€ 493.150,68).
