Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Kaari Upson was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in June 2017. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,541.10) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kaari Upson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Horizon in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 47,882.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kaari Upson wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.541,10) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kaari Upson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Horizon im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 47.882,08).
