Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year Phillips in an online auction held the auction Heatwave: Online Auction, which included the work Trashole by Kaari Upson. The price achieved of GBP 8,820.00 (€ 10,532.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kaari Upson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Horizon in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 47,882.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Heatwave: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Trashole von Kaari Upson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.820,00 (€ 10.532,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kaari Upson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Horizon im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 47.882,08).
