This artwork by Kaari Upson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2017. In the Afternoon Sale auction, the work For A Good Time sold for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 42,544.23) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Kaari Upson; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Horizon sold at auction in October 2014 with the realized price of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 47,882.08).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Kaari Upson erzielte im September 2017 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Afternoon Sale wurde die Arbeit For A Good Time für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 42.544,23) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Kaari Upson; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Horizon im Oktober 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 47.882,08).
