This artwork by Kaari Upson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2017. In the Afternoon Sale auction, the work For A Good Time sold for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 42,544.23) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Kaari Upson; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Horizon sold at auction in October 2014 with the realized price of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 47,882.08).
