Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Kaari Upson was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November last year. The price achieved of EUR 2,268.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,800.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kaari Upson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Horizon in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 47,882.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kaari Upson kam im November letzten Jahres bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.268,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.800,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kaari Upson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Horizon im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 47.882,08).
