Auction result well in line with expectations
The work There's Somebody Else (Plastic Memory VII) by Justin Ponmany was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in October 2010. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,825.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Justin Ponmany have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Staple agony - II (Plastic Memory) in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 109,250.00 (€ 138,095.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit There's Somebody Else (Plastic Memory VII) von Justin Ponmany wurde im Oktober 2010 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.825,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Justin Ponmany auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Staple agony - II (Plastic Memory) im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 109.250,00 (€ 138.095,66).
