Auction result misses estimated price range
In April last year a collector was able to acquire the work Disconnect – 06AB09 by Justin Ponmany for HKD 11,340.00 (€ 1,371.09). This price was achieved in the auction No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Originals at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Justin Ponmany achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Staple agony - II (Plastic Memory) in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 109,250.00 (€ 138,095.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Disconnect – 06AB09 von Justin Ponmany für HKD 11.340,00 (€ 1.371,09) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Originals bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Justin Ponmany erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Staple agony - II (Plastic Memory) im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 109.250,00 (€ 138.095,66).
