Auction result misses estimated price range
In April last year a collector was able to acquire the work "#463" by Julião Sarmento for SEK 24,000.00 (€ 2,323.24). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art & Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julião Sarmento achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Emma 4 in February 2004 with an auction result of GBP 50,190.00 (€ 74,936.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "#463" von Julião Sarmento für SEK 24.000,00 (€ 2.323,24) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julião Sarmento erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Emma 4 im Februar 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.190,00 (€ 74.936,04).
