This work without title by Judy Chicago was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in June 2014. It achieved a price of USD 11,875.00 (€ 8,674.21), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 70%. Admittedly, works by Judy Chicago have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Growing Pains from the series Six Views from the Womantree in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 81,900.00 (€ 69,743.68).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Judy Chicago kam im Juni 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 8.674,21) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 70%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Judy Chicago auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Growing Pains from the series Six Views from the Womantree im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.900,00 (€ 69.743,68).
