The work Eight by Judy Chicago was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2014. It achieved a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,939.18), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Judy Chicago achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Growing Pains from the series Six Views from the Womantree in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 81,900.00 (€ 69,743.68).

Die Arbeit Eight von Judy Chicago kam im September 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.939,18) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Judy Chicago erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Growing Pains from the series Six Views from the Womantree im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.900,00 (€ 69.743,68).
