In September 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Part I and Part II, which included the work Dinner Party Test Plate (Isabella D'Este) by Judy Chicago. The result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 28,131.37) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Judy Chicago - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Growing Pains from the series Six Views from the Womantree, which sold at auction in March 2021 for USD 81,900.00 (€ 69,743.68).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 28.131,37) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00.
