In May last year Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Day Auction, which included the work Golden Groucho by Joyce Pensato. The »bidding war« ended at USD 189,000.00 (€ 176,125.24), 26% above the upper estimate. Other works by Joyce Pensato have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 2,250,000.00 (€ 237,326.25) in December 2020 for the work Sunset Batman.

Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Golden Groucho von Joyce Pensato zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 189.000,00 (€ 176.125,24) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
