Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Clowney by Joyce Pensato was auctioned at Phillips in London in June this year. It achieved a price of GBP 13,970.00 (€ 16,258.67), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joyce Pensato achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunset Batman in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 2,250,000.00 (€ 237,326.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Clowney von Joyce Pensato kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 13.970,00 (€ 16.258,67) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joyce Pensato erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sunset Batman im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.250.000,00 (€ 237.326,25).
