The work Sunset Batman by Joyce Pensato was auctioned at Christies in worldwide in December 2020. The price achieved of HKD 2,250,000.00 (€ 237,326.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,800,000.00 – 2,800,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sunset Batman is the most expensive artwork by Joyce Pensato that we have observed at auctions so far.
