Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work ohne Titel by José-Luis Sanchez was auctioned at VAN HAM in November 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had set an estimate of EUR 200.00, but failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 129.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by José-Luis Sanchez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans titre in March 2021 with an auction result of EUR 3,528.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit ohne Titel von José-Luis Sanchez im November 2012 bei VAN HAM versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit EUR 200,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung jedoch nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 129,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von José-Luis Sanchez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans titre im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.528,00.
