The work Serie Finale Comienzo by José Guerrero was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in March 2019. It achieved a price of GBP 112,500.00 (€ 130,575.35), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by José Guerrero; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Comienzo, 1982 sold at auction in October 2007 with the realized price of EUR 228,250.00.

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von José Guerrero; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Comienzo, 1982 im Oktober 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 228.250,00.
