Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tanto Monta, Monta Tanto by José Guerrero was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June 2015. It changed hands for a price of EUR 69,900.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by José Guerrero - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Comienzo, 1982, which sold at auction in October 2007 for EUR 228,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tanto Monta, Monta Tanto von José Guerrero kam im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 69.900,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von José Guerrero mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Comienzo, 1982 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für EUR 228.250,00 versteigert wurde.
