In April 2016 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work El Eclipse by Jorge Macchi. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,386.17), 16% above the upper estimate. Other works by Jorge Macchi have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 27,500.00 (€ 20,441.54) in November 2011 for the work Autorretrato.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.386,17) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Jorge Macchi haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 20.441,54) im November 2011 für die Arbeit Autorretrato beobachtet.
