Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2011 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Jorge Macchi for GBP 625.00 (€ 726.08). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jorge Macchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autorretrato in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 20,441.54).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2011 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jorge Macchi für GBP 625,00 (€ 726,08) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jorge Macchi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autorretrato im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 20.441,54).
