In May 2016 Phillips in New York held the auction Latin America, which included the work Charco de sangre-víctima serial by Jorge Macchi. The »bidding war« ended at USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,471.04), 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by Jorge Macchi have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 27,500.00 (€ 20,441.54) in November 2011 for the work Autorretrato.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2016 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Latin America durch, in der auch die Arbeit Charco de sangre-víctima serial von Jorge Macchi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.471,04) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Jorge Macchi haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 20.441,54) im November 2011 für die Arbeit Autorretrato beobachtet.
