Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled, from Brooklyn Academy of Music Portfolio II by Jonathan Lasker was sold in the Editions & Works on Paper auction at Phillips in New York in October 2021. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,134.00 (€ 981.65) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jonathan Lasker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Discontinuous Self in July last year with an auction result of USD 138,600.00 (€ 135,855.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled, from Brooklyn Academy of Music Portfolio II von Jonathan Lasker wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.134,00 (€ 981,65) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jonathan Lasker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Discontinuous Self im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 138.600,00 (€ 135.855,71).
