In the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Landscape with Brook changed hands for USD 4,800.00 (€ 3,980.76) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Fabian Carlson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Forest Silence in September 2009 with an auction result of USD 80,500.00 (€ 55,023.92).
