Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Grisebach held the auction Auktionen 215-221 - Third Floor. Schätzwerte bis EUR 3.000, which included the work „Sighs in the sky“. by Johannes Molzahn. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Molzahn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Musik in June 2012 with an auction result of EUR 154,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Grisebach die Auktion Auktionen 215-221 - Third Floor. Schätzwerte bis EUR 3.000 durch, in der auch die Arbeit „Sighs in the sky“. von Johannes Molzahn zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Molzahn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Musik im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 154.800,00.
