The work Übertierchen by Johannes Molzahn was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2021. It achieved a price of EUR 20,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33 %. Admittedly, works by Johannes Molzahn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Musik in June 2012 with an auction result of EUR 154,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Übertierchen von Johannes Molzahn kam im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 20.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johannes Molzahn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Musik im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 154.800,00.
